Inferno is a nifty utility application that permanently deletes unwanted files from your disk drive. When removing a file from your hard drive using the operating system interface, the contents of the file is still saved on the local disk. The operating system just makes the location of the contents available for other new data. Inferno not only makes the location of the file available to the operating system, but it also overwrites the file several times.
Inferno’s user interface is designed to allow most users to hit the ground running once the tool is installed. The data deletion options only enable users to select one item at a time but can delete multiple files or folders simultaneously. The Inferno utility also supports deleting internet browser history.
